Electronic Attendance Policy

Electronic attendance is considered one of the keys to the success of learners in e-learning and distance education. In this regard, electronic attendance refers to the virtual presence of the learner connected to the internet on the e-learning portal or virtual classroom through a computer or mobile device, and acknowledging whether the learner is present in real-time.

Key Policies of Electronic Attendance:

Virtual attendance is considered equivalent to traditional attendance in terms of calculating hours and the minimum number of hours required to be present, with this ratio not less than 25% of the total contact hours for the course. The e-Learning and Simulation Unit is responsible for monitoring, supervising, and tracking student access to e-learning systems and virtual classrooms. Automatic monitoring and recording of electronic attendance and absence for trainees in training courses through virtual classroom systems. Automatic monitoring and recording of electronic attendance and absence for trainees in the LMS educational platform. At the end of the course, the electronic attendance report is sent to the management of Bakkah Training Center, where the trainee must attend at least (75%) of the training hours allocated for the registered course. When a trainee is absent from attending the course, they forfeit their right to receive the certificate or claim a refund of the fees unless they provide an official excuse, and Bakkah Training Center reserves the right to accept or reject the excuse.
